definitely more complicated , but i'm open to discussion ! i've worked on album art , flyers & merch for others before . i'll typically draft up a contract regarding payment , be it a one time sum or conditional royalties .

cocadope reserves the right to decline any requested work for any reason .
cocadope reserves the rights to display all commissioned work on any public website, gallery, or physical space. publication can be delayed / withheld upon request, e.g. gifts for friends or NDA .
cocadope retains all rights to commissioned works, including rights to make prints & merchandise. this includes reposting / alteration of the original commissioned work for commercial usage. cocadope reserves the right to recycle sketches or rejected assets for other commissions or personal work.
displaying / editing any of cocadope's work is allowed so long as ownership is proven & it's non-monetary in nature. commercial usage is prohibited unless discussed beforehand, in which a written contract will be drawn up & signed by both parties.
requests for a commissioned work to be canceled in exchange for a refund are permitted at any point in the process, so long as the work is not finalized. Once the refund is formally requested, labor and resources spent on the refunded piece will be deducted from the total amount before being returned.
once payment has been sent, you have acknowledged and agreed to the stated terms and conditions above.
